Alamoot Company started by constructing high-rise residential and commercial buildings, warehouses, and industrial factories, and then by constructing surface water collection channels and tunnels in Tehran, it gradually specialized in constructing urban and traffic tunnels, water and energy transmission (high-voltage electricity cables), and urban facilities.

Alamoot Company is proud to be the first Iranian private sector company to carry out the construction of mechanized tunnels with TBM-EPB Shield machines in the country. By concluding a contract with Tehran Municipality in 1999, it began the construction of Bahmanyar Tunnel with a TBM machine manufactured by the Canadian company Lovat and successfully completed it on time. The project was inaugurated by the then President as a national project.

By attracting specialized and educated personnel and establishing modern management systems and methods in the execution of work, this company is one of the first contracting companies to receive the Design and Construction Contractor Qualification Certificate from the Management and Planning Organization in 2009. It has completed many of its projects, including Isfahan Metro, Tabriz Metro, and Tabriz Energy Tunnel, in cooperation with foreign and Iranian consultants.

The deep tunnels of the southern section of Isfahan Metro Line 1, between Azadi Square and Soffe Terminal, were constructed by the NATM method in the 1980s using 4 Eyckoff and Wirth roadheaders under a design and construction contract.
The deep tunnels of the middle section of Isfahan Metro Line 1, between Shohada Square and Azadi Square, were constructed using two TBMs manufactured by the Hernekenschte Company, under the streets of Isfahan and after passing under the Zayandeh Rood River, the first urban tunnels implemented in the country that have passed several kilometers under groundwater.
The deep tunnels of Tabriz Urban Train Line 1, were constructed using a mechanized method using two TBMs manufactured by the NFM Company, between Daneshgah Square and Laleh Terminal, and under the streets, dilapidated fabric, and the Tabriz Bazaar, most of which are below the groundwater level.

This company has a brilliant track record in all fields of construction, buildings and civil engineering and is proud to have built about 200 kilometers of tunnels with different diameters from 2 to 17 meters across the country, leaving valuable works and relics in the construction of heavy underground buildings and the development and development of the country over the past 40 years. Currently, it is still playing its role in the construction of Line 3 of the Tabriz Metro with two TBM machines manufactured by NFM Company.
